Peter Vitartas - President

Peter is a Marketing academic in the School of Commerce and Management at Southern Cross University (SCU). He has taught, developed and assisted in many of SCU’s undergraduate and postgraduate marketing units.

His research interests include community and economic development, resident satisfaction with Local Governments and the mobile workforce. Prior to joining the SCU Peter worked in Sydney and London in a number of marketing management positions for local and international companies. He possesses extensive experience in market research and has been actively involved in research consultancies for both local and national organisations. Peter holds a Master of Business (Research) along with a Doctor of Philosophy, both from SCU.

Garrie Wykes - Vice President

Garrie has over thirty-two years experience in the electricity industry and is currently the Area Co-ordinator for Country Energy in the Northern Rivers. He has more than six years experience in Human Resources Management and Training throughout NSW, Queensland and Victoria and holds an Advanced Certificate in Human Resources Management.

Katrina Sommers - Secretary

Katrina Sommers has been involved in the IT industry in teaching for the past fourteen years. She has extensive experience in small business operations as a sole trader, partner and director across a wide range of industries. Katrina has been a business partner in IT & Business Training for many years.

John Donnelly

John spent twenty two years in the banking industry in the Northern Rivers region including branch manager and Schools Liaison Officer. Since 1995 John has built an impressive business called Wrightway Products based in Lismore and supplying cutting edge waste receptacles and handling systems across Australia and internationally.

Liza Bloomer

Liza is principal of a web and graphic design firm, and owns and operates a boutique accommodation service in Grafton. In partnership with her husband Liza also operates a transport business 'Bloomer Transport'. In the last decade she has also operated two other small business - a business consultancy specialising in accountancy software and training, and a cafe.
